In an effort to be as efficient as possible with regard to the dissemination of inter-occupational communication, we encourage every Occupation to form an InterOcc Working Group, Committee of Correspondence (CoC) or similar entity. This committee, ideally, would consist of a broad spectrum of working group representatives and others to collectively perform the following functions:
- Serve as conduits for internal communication to outside occupations including official GA-to-GA communication
- Maintain an internal directory of working groups and other pertinent personnel contact information so that, should a person(s) or working group within your occupation need to be contacted by an outsider, that information is readily available
- Coordinate the participation of your Occupation’s involvement in regional conferencing
- Any other action to aid in Inter-occupation communication.
Please note, these InterOcc Work Groups are in no way meant to serve as the official spokesperson for your occupation’s GA. Further, CoCs should be transparent, open to everyone, and aid any other efforts by individuals or groups that seemingly fall under the purview of the CoC.
To begin coordinating with InterOccupy and the other InterOcc Working Groups, please fill out this form.
We will reply asap with further details of how to connect with Interoccupy. We will also add you to the InterOcc Roster page, which will help others connect with you and working groups from your occupation.

Please help us get the word out about new googlegroup/listsrv “InterOccupyHealth”:
http://groups.google.com/group/interoccupyhealth
This is meant to be open to all local health and healthcare activists who are truly active and participating in their local Occupy, October2011 or equivalent movement, and are specifically working on health and healthcare issues within that activity. It is meant for hands-on activists and organizers.
If this is you, or somebody yo know, contact us:
interoccupyhealth@googlegroups.com
http://groups.google.com/group/interoccupyhealth
We are health activists & healthcare workers who are actively participating in our local Occupy & related movements. We support the broader fight for social, economic & political justice; health (social determinants; disparities) & universal public insurance healthcare access for all (single payer).
It is meant to be open people who are coming from any prior and current organization (e.g., PNHP and/or NPA, etc.) and for non-physicians too (NNU, HCN, etc.). It is meant to provide a both a means and forum for communication and sharing.

I think that this movement has the power to branch out and help correct other areas of soical injustice and become the catalyst for true and whole American justice. Let’s try this. The Committees of Coorspondance should begin to organize daily/weekly/monthly rallies to boycott a single targeted oil company, demanding that prices drop to/at a predetermined rate within a predetermined timeframe. I suggest that this senario target a single entity, rather that deplete the human resourse by focusing on all oil companies. With the threat of returning the following day/week/month on a regular basis unless the demands are met.

I think they are fans of the “1632″ universe. :) But then again… it sometimes feels as if the wing nuts would prefer to give up there freedom to fight religeous wars.

A main issue with the Oil prices seems to be price inflation due to speculation and the way it is allowed to work. so, transparency and appropriate regulation and oversight are needed. The prime target then seems to be either the US Executive branch or that plus Congress. Salembard
