Welcome to the Super Tuesday Call.  This call is an excellent opportunity to discuss key items of interest to all and share knowledge across Occupations around the country.  You might want to keep this agenda open in a browser tab so you can refer to it.  Notes will be typed in this document as the call progresses.
  • Request volunteer to take notes in real time on the Agenda & Notes
  • encourage all callers to have paper and pencil ready to take notes and doodle if you get bored :)
There was a link to the Participant Console in the email of your registration confirmation.  The Participant Console permits you to receive brief notes during the call and to send brief comments or questions to the Facilitator.  Any lengthy comments or feedback about logistics of the call should be sent to info@InterOccupy.org.

  1. Be Curious and Open to Learning: Listen to and be open to hearing all points of view.  Maintain an attitude of exploration and learning.
  1. Balance Advocacy and Inquiry:  Seek to learn and understand as much as you might want to persuade.  Conversations are as much about listening as it is about talking.
  1. Show Respect and Suspend Judgment:  Setting judgments aside will enable you to learn from others and contribute to others experiencing being respected and appreciated.
  1. Seek Alignment rather than Agreement: Alignment is shared intention, whereas agreement is having a shared belief or opinion.
  1. Be Purposeful and to the Point: Notice if what you are conveying is or is not “on purpose” to the question at hand.  Notice if you are making the same point more than once.  Do your best to make your point quickly with honesty and depth.
  1. Own and Guide the Conversation or Process:  Take responsibility for the quality of your participation and the quality of the work conversations by noticing what’s happening and actively support getting yourself and others back “on purpose” when needed.
  1. Be Excellent to Each other: Share what’s important to you.  Speak authentically; from your personal and heart felt experience.  Be considerate to others who are doing the same.

  • Be concise so many can speak (tone is sign to wrap it up)
  • Say “check” or  “I yield” after comments so we know you are finished
