Dear Mr. Cooper:
Because the State Attorney General of Massachusetts, Ms Martha Coakley, has just file suit against the major banks for illegal foreclosures, we urge your office to withdraw from the proposed settlement known as “cash for immunity.” While helping few if any North Carolina residents, you would be exonerating the banks from their civil and criminal malfeasance.
Please consider an independent litigation, particularly involving robo-signing of foreclosure documents, and meantime impose a moratorium on all possibly illegal foreclosures. With thanks and appreciation for your timely response to this issue.
