InterOccupy.org is a hub of communications between occupations of the Occupy movement. We are currently hosting weekly conference calls that connect specific working groups to each other across occupations.
> We also host a weekly general call on Monday nights at 7pm PST/8pm MST/9pm CST/10pm EST.
> For more information about upcoming calls, please visit our Calendar page.
> For shared information from occupations, please see our Resources or Announcements page (coming soon).
> For upcoming Mass Actions, please visit our Mass Actions page
Committees of Correspondence (Inter-Occupation Communication Working Groups)
InterOccupy is a collaborative effort being maintained by Inter-Occupation Communications Working Groups from local occupations. If you are with a Communications Working Group, please visit our Committees of Correspondence page for instructions on how to get more involved with us, or simply to let us know who you are so that we can help others network with your occupation.
We look forward to working together to ensure these communication channels remain strong and adhere to the open, transparent, and democratic nature of our movement.
Stay connected with us and up to date with Occupy

>>>>>New InterOccupy Announcement List<<<<<
We are migrating our announcement list to a Google Group. If you would like to continue to receive email from InterOccupy, including updates about our conference calls and important announcements related to the Occupy movement, please join our new announcements list by going to:
http://groups.google.com/
We will continue to send messages to both lists for a while,
but please join the Google Group now because we will be
phasing out of using this current list. Joining the Google Group
will become the only way to stay up to date with happenings at
InterOccupy.
>>>>>Resources and Announcements Sections<<<<<
We have two new sections on InterOccupy.org that will give
you even more inter-occupation interaction than before.
We now have Announcements and Resources. These will
be a place to post shared resources and announcements
that pertain to the whole Occupy movement.
The first shared resource we have is an exciting one!
During the November 17th Day of Action, an #Occupy
“Bat Signal” was projected onto the Verizon building in
New York City. NYC has shared the files and instructions
on how you can have a similar presentation in your city.

>>>>>Committees of Correspondence/InterOccupy Working Groups<<<<<
We are actively looking for other Inter-Occupation Communications
working groups to join us in maintaining the lines of communication
at InterOccupy. We are also starting a roster of Committees of
Correspondence to make it easier for all of us in the movement
to connect to individuals and working groups across occupations.
We invite InterOcc working groups and Committees of
Correspondence to visit
http://interoccupy.org/
to see instructions on how to better connect with us.

My major concern is that there are a lot of actions being organized, but I am not clear about what the overall strategy of our movement is. If we want to end corporate domination of our lives, we need a coordinated national plan. I support the way direct democracy has been working within Occupy, and I believe that a “leaderless” movement is the right way to proceed. The challenge for us is to find a way to coordinate actions across numerous Occupations which leads toward a broad national goal. No movement in the history of nonviolent struggle has been organized quite like this. Who is working on this issue? I would like to help move that forward, and have been thinking about this for several years.

There was a request from Shawn in Santa Rosa for info on successful tactics with regard to negotiations with city governments.
This is Shaun in Santa Rosa making the same request for information and advice.

I was on the call for the first time tonight. I was the one who mentioned that I’d like to propose an action for all Occupys that we occupy the offices of all our congress people and senators when the Super Committee releases its report next month. I wonder if this comments section is the place where I can post two articles that explain the need for this action. If so, here they are:
