OccupyTV MNN reporting on national actions:
Finished a production meeting for the Thursday morning show to be aired at 9am and will be sent to free speech TV. Looking for looking for a story on Clean Channel actions. Also working on a story about the occupy the ports action.
Putting out a call for 30 second spots on the occupy movement. Please let your media teams know about it.
Occupy Spots and Loudsauce (www.loudsauce.com) teamed up to crowd-finance three spots from the Occupy movement. $20,000 was raised in two campaigns from over 350 individuals to air these spots across the nation. You can see them here: http://loudsauce.com/campaigns/55-help-three-occupy-tv-spots-reach-millions-more-on-national-tv
We are now launching a new campaign!
WE ARE TAKING CONTROL of the OCCUPY MESSAGE!!!
Why let the press define who we are…when we can define ourselves.
The Occupy Movements defines itself through actions, through placards, through statements, through proposals, through videos…and now through 30-second television spots!
CALL for 30-second Occupy Movement spots to be crowd-funded to purchase airtime.
Occupy Spots in conjunction with Loudsauce, the first crowd-funded media buying platform for social action, has raised over $20,000 from more than 300 people to air three Occupy movement spots. These spots have aired during Fox News, Charlie Rose and EPSN. We are communicating directly with the people… without our message being distorted by the media.
We have raised the stakes in our next campaign.
We are raising $100,000 to spread the Occupy Message!
We are inviting all Occupiers to submit 30-second spots.
Loudsauce has created a platform, which allows individuals to donate money to whichever spots they want to support as part of this $100,000 campaign.
Please spread the word!
Invite media teams and occupiers to create 30-second spots about the Occupy movement!
Deadline for spots is January 15. All spots are accepted as long as they are don’t contain profanity or flagrant untruths. All spots which receive donations of at least $1000 will air. The campaign to raise $100,000 will run a month.
I will be posting more details. Also information will be on www.facebook.com/occupyspots
