Overview
Portland made the call last month, to challenge the concentration of power in our political system and who is controlling our voices. Challenges corporations who silence these voices. Concentration on headquarters with non-violent DA. Reclaim our democracy.
Portland national call to action; 61 cities have signed on. ALEC is the target, a midterm goal, which we can effect, and they exemplify the problem. A perfect target for occupy.
This f29 action will be the first of a series o events over the year.
Salt lake city, national ALEC meeting.
Washington D.C. big conference last week in November.
Can this build toward other actions. Build energy.

Action Planning
Be mindful of security culture
Portland – spokescouncil organizing it. big org to put together march and Rally for F29. Affinity group model sign on and pick their own target. Anticipate 6 affinity groups or so. Multiple rallies, breakouts to educate people, “our school”. Opportunity for on-day affinity groups.

National Day of Action
Use #F29, #F29action tag as much as possible. Video – tweet it. Do an interview with one activist, with our script. WE are —, we are here targeting this corp because of this. Add info about local videographer to shut down the corps for coordination. Help hone messaging by sending info about action, send a quote for press releases, get it by the 23rd.
Juan – Media in spanish we can give to latin american pop, lots of good hits from media. Gotten calls about lots of other countries about ALEC. Concentrating on Mexico City. Planning on a national day of action, wants to use F29 as a launch pad for it.
