Louisville Metro Government Wants to End Occupy Louisville Encampment

In a meeting with Public Works and the LMPD today, Occupy Louisville was informed that the city of Louisville will renew the permit for Occupy Louisville with the stipulation that no tents remain up overnight.

This includes sleeping tents, the kitchen tent, and any or all other tents, beginning January 2nd.

Occupy Louisville holds its regular work group meeting on Sundays at 5:30pm. This Sunday, emergency discussion about how Occupy Louisville intends to discuss the matter of the permit, its renewal and how Occupy Louisville plans to address this.
