Submit to In Front and Center!
About the blog:
We are a group that has been participating in the Occupy Wall Street movement. We are part of the 99% and are united in solidarity with all those who are fighting to change the direction in this country. As participants of this occupation, we also believe that solidarity and criticism go together. We are people of color and allies who want to ensure that the voices, experiences and issues of the most oppressed and marginalized communities are in the front and center of this movement.
Call for Entries:
We are looking for submissions! There is still much analysis to be done about the ongoing Occupy movement. In Front and Center features articles, statements, letters, videos and visual art from Occupy activists located across the United States, and around the world. It doesn’t matter where you are located – if you have something to say about your local Occupy protests that you think needs to be said, that fits our solidarity with critique framework, write it and send it to us.
You can also submit material for our Tools and Strategies page – where we have rolled out a new collection of tools and strategies, stories and how-to information that we can use at OWS and beyond.

Open*Letter to Occupy,
As you well know many organizations are attempting to co-opt the social momentum Occupy has created.
The opportunity, N.O.W. exists for YOU to seize the Moral High Ground and co-opt the usefulness not only of ALL these organization but also the Corporate and Government entities responsible for the current global situation.
How ? By doing what you do BEST, OCCUPY…
Coordinate and begin a National and Global OCCUPATION of abandon military and government facilities to provide housing and services for the homeless.
In one fell swoop you will have begun the creation of an A.R.C. System, providing the environment to change everything through community,
A.buse R.ecovery C.enters
Offering every available, public and private service, financial and security arm of society an opportunity to shift their feeble piece meal efforts into an action that will, END*HOMELESSNESS, provide job creation, reduce crime, poverty and address many social ills under a single banner.
The ARC of Humanity…
Shaming and Motivating Government and Corporate Rule into Serving the 99%
Raising Occupy unto the moral high ground of successful accomplishment.
Providing individuals and families with the dignity and avenues toward success from the very depths of poverty throughout every tier of Society.
Shifting the Us -vs- Them Conflict, into the Them & Us, Paradigm of Cooperation.
While creating base’s of operation for the Occupy Movement, rooted in and connected to the civil and social morality of serving the Greater*Good.
Occupy The ARC of Humanity…
